Traveling in Pairs

AsefaMusic presents Traveling in Pairs, a duo setup featuring Alon Nechustan (Israeli pianist and composer) and Samuel Torjman Thomas (saxophones and oud). Traveling in Pairs takes hold of a wide range of Jewish music repertoire –– Sephardic, North African, Klezmer, liturgical, and original compositions –– and gives it a modern treatment informed by original arrangements, jazz and maqam reharmonization, and improvisation.
